Welcome to NEXUS' new Green Service Provider Directory!
The NEXUS Green Service Provider Directory (GSPD) is a free resource for building owners and renters, homeowners, design professionals, facilities managers, policy-makers and all other companies or individuals seeking professional services related to green building, green living or sustainable development.
This beta version of the directory is a fully functional version that allows us to bring this important service to our clients as soon as possible, while at the same time helping us to identify any remaining issues before we publish the final version.
The GSPD provides leaders in the green building and sustainable development community with a formal channel at the NEXUS Green Building Resource Center to promote their services to consumers at all levels.
The GSPD is not meant to certify or endorse green professionals. Rather, the purpose of the GSPD is to consolidate and publicize information about a service provider's background, such that the consumer is empowered to make an informed decision when selecting a service provider. The intent is to create a resource whereby consumers can evaluate a variety of companies across a range of experience and credentials.
All service providers are welcome to participate in this program as long as they respond to all the questions honestly and in sufficient detail. While the service provider questionnaire focuses in part on the USGBC's LEED rating system & similar systems, formal participation in these programs is not a prerequisite for inclusion in the directory. We want to encourage all legitimate green service providers to participate in this important resource for consumers.
We hope that you find this to be a useful resource!
If you have any questions or comments regarding the directory, or have noted any issues, please send a message to NEXUS@greenroundtable.org, and include "GSPD" in the subject line.
